Regulations on the Use and Smoking of Cannabis
Following the decriminalization of cannabis by the Thai government on 9 June 2022 – permitting its use strictly for medical and health-related purposes only – Gardina Asoke Hotel would like to inform you of the following policies, in accordance with Thai law and to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests:
- Smoking cannabis is strictly prohibited in all areas of the hotel
This includes guest rooms, public spaces, and designated smoking areas. - Recreational use of cannabis is not permitted
Cannabis use is allowed only for medical purposes as defined by law. - Smoking cannabis in public is illegal under Thai law
Offenders may face penalties of up to 3 months’ imprisonment and/or a fine of up to 25,000 Baht. - Cannabis use and possession are restricted to individuals aged 20 years and above
We kindly ask all guests to strictly adhere to these regulations and the hotel’s policies to ensure a safe, orderly, and pleasant environment for everyone.
Non-Smoking Policy
- Gardina Asoke Hotel is a smoke-free hotel. We are committed to providing a clean and comfortable environment for all guests. Smoking is strictly prohibited all guest rooms, balconies, and indoor public areas.
- Guests who wish to smoke may do so only at the designated smoking area located at the hotel’s parking lot. This is the sole area permitted for smoking on the premises.
- Please be advised that a room recovery fee will be applied if evidence of smoking is found in the room, in order to restore it to a smoke-free condition.
